Course

Aims to provide deeper knowledge on algorithms used bioinformatics. Such algorithms are for instance local and global alignment, sequence assembly, multiple alignment methoids, algorithms in phylogenetics. Course material will be in the moodle To get in the course pages you need to use your email account in Turku or Tampere

Lectures and exercises

In Turku
Wednesday 16:15-18:00, room B2034 and Fridays 10-12 , room B2034 , starting October 26.

In Tampere
Tuesdays 12:15-16:00, Finnmedi 1, lecture room 3rd floor, starting October 25.

Students are expected to solve some exercises weekly. Solutions are presented on lectures.

Exam

Electronic exam will be arranged simultaneuously in Turku and Tampere. It will be available from mid December until end of January. See tenttis at Turku or tenttis at Tampere
