Aims to provide deeper knowledge on algorithms used bioinformatics. Such algorithms are for instance local and global alignment, sequence assembly, multiple alignment methoids, algorithms in phylogenetics. Lectures and exercises
In Turku
Wednesday 16:15-18:00, room B2034 and Fridays 10-12 , room B2034 , starting October 26.
In Tampere
Tuesdays 12:15-16:00, Finnmedi 1, lecture room 3rd floor, starting October 25.
Students are expected to solve some exercises weekly. Solutions are presented on lectures.
